The view across the narrows from the mainland toward Kylerhea and the Isle of Skye. The famous Ferry House near Glenelg is on the right of the picture. Dr. Johnson and Mr. Boswell stayed there while on their famous tour of the highlands in 1773 .
The area is steeped in history of the highlands and with wonderful wildlife and the famous Otters, and is the original place where the cattle drovers made the crossing. Glenelg is a great place to relax and stay awhile . The Weather can be interesting !
